Alexandra (Alex) Stech

Alexandra (Alex) Stech

Alexandra (Alex) Stech is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 with her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. Alex then returned to school and graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2019 with her Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. In school, she was involved in the PTA club and was a Student PTA representative for the Central District of the APTA of MA.

Alex was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy after her experiences as a patient three separate times for knee injuries due to playing soccer in high school. She loved the way that the therapists would build relationships with their patients while simultaneously relieving them of pain.

While at MWCC, Alex received experience with inpatient, outpatient, and school based PT and loved having the opportunity to work with patients from age 5 to age 95. In her practice, Alex has become certified in Graston Technique. She also has experience in K-taping, cupping, and joint mobilization techniques. Her favorite part of her job is being able to improve her patient’s way of life, help to decrease or eliminate pain, and educate patients to ensure they can continue to succeed even after they are done with PT.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, dog sitting, running, lifting, and, most importantly, crafting.
